Professionals

We chose Korali for its prime position in the small Agnontas bay. Kids screamed for a lobster spaghetti after having a look at the fish tank with the lobsters. Food was great and we were impressed by the professional waiter (middle aged man not sure if he was the owner) who seemed to read between the lines. Setting is fantastic and we also won the battle with the wasps (you cannot have it all). In summary Korali was for us the best restaurant for seafood on the island.

Black Mullet

Very romantic place for a pleasant evening. Simple good food in Greek style; many different dishes on separate plates. We had the housewine which is very good combined with stuffed tomato/pepper, spanakopita (big Skopelos style…) and black mullets as main dish. All cooked well.

Sunset Visit

You can spend the day on the beach here if you wish, but we visited early evening and enjoyed an excellent selection of Greek starters followed by fresh fish and enjoyed a magnificent sunset whilst watching the local fishermen set off for the evening.

Quiet little haven

We ate here twice during our stay for three equally important reasons: Cleanest bathroom ever. Beautiful, quiet location. Simple, tasty food. Thank you.

Lovely food, beautiful location, don't miss it

We called into here in a hire boat on a hot July day. We did not know of this waterside taverna but we had picked out Agonontas beach as somewhere to call in for lunch on our boat trip. After mooring we picked Korali out of the three tavernas sitting on the beach, it was well presented and clean and looked nice. We picked some fresh fish from the iced cabinet that had been caught that morning from the bay, which was simply grilled with lemon and parsley with a side order of delicious homemade chips. It was lovely long dinner in the shade, staff are friendly and don’t rush you at all. The prawn saganaki was the best dish I had in Skopelos and away from the hotel we found this was the nicest place to eat on the island. We will return!

Stunning sunset, excellent food

Agnontas is a little beach with 3 or 4 restaurants, just feet in the water. The Korali is the most recommended. And we were not disapponted. The food is very good. Best eggplant salad in the island. My husband loved the lobster pasta! For him was the best in Skopelos. Everything was very good. The only thing that disapponted me was the mussels. It was not very interesting. But they were fresh, wich is a big advantage in Skopelos, because even though is an island, most of the restaurants have frozeen sea food in the menu (at least it’s written on the menu). In Korali, we can eat the catch of the day, the lobster from the tank and many very good regional things. The chicken slouvaki is very good too. We’ve been there three times in 2 weeks. Good Greek wines on the menu. And the sunset is just perfect!

One of the best tavernas in Skopelos

I’ve seen other reviewers complaining about the food and friendlines of waiters at this place, but I guess we were really lucky. It was by far the best food we had in Skopelos, and we tried most of the recommended places on the island. I can’t say anything about meat, as we always had fish or seafood and starters, but everything we had was excellent. Honest, simple and tasty food. We went there 4 times and everytime we were happy.

Very good fish restaurant

Spent a say at the beach before eating in this fish taverna and catching the bus back to Skopelos Town. Lots of fresh fish that’s well cooked with the restaurant in a lovely location as the sun goes down.

A very relaxing place to be with excellent quality food

I visited Korali restaurant with my family by chance and really it was a very pleasant surprise for us because, apart from the view and the relaxing environment, we have enjoyed one of the best meals we had in Skopelos island. The spaghetti with seafood was excellent, perfectly cooked and served. My son who is allergic to fish had ordered a pork steak and that was also juicy and delicious. That tavern was definitely one of my favourites in the island and I would recommend it to anybody visiting Skopelos.

Best tavern in Skopelos

My favorite place to eat everytime I visit Skopelos. The location is perfect, the food is amazing, the service is excellent, value for money, the fish is very fresh and the appetizers are so yiammy. My favorite dishes: eggplant dip/salad, cheese dip, anchovies kolibitos, sardines either grilled or kolibitos, mussels saganaki. You can have one of the best lobster with pasta; it’s cooked the moment you order it! By the end of your meal you will be happy and full but make sure to have a dessert… the surprise is always at the end; the best chocolate cake you ever had. Enjoy!

The best fish-tavern in Skopelos

Delicious! I just cannot say enough about this place. Excellent fresh sea food, in a unique place in front of the sea, enjoing the magical sunset. Fresh sea food ingredients cooked very well, with delicate flavors. Taste gavros or sardela kolimbiti, cheese dip, eggplant dip, salt cod with garlic dip, beetroots, kritama (boiled sea vegetables), and of course the freshest fish and lobsters in Skopelos. It is always a pleasure to dine here.
