This is the last beach of the north-east coast of the island – not far from neighbouring Hondrogiorgi beach – and has easy access by private vehicle via a paved road. Although on an isolated area, it is only 5.2 km on the opposite side from the village of Glossa, and very popular to local families.
With fine shingle in the south end and more pebbles in the north, this small paradise has sparkling blue deep waters and is ideal for those who like open and empty spaces.
Facing north it is much cooler than the western beaches of the island. Unfortunately, the steepish pathway down to the shore makes the beach not suitable for people with disabilities.
At the top of the cliff there is plenty of space for free parking and a canteen which operates in the summer months for provisions (water, beverages, coffee, snacks, etc) who also rent the sunbeds and umbrellas by the beach.
