Yes, it is true! Most of the time this sheltered lagoon looking bay – protected by steep green hills – is calm. The beach has fine sand in pale golden colour. There is a slippery underwater shelf of rock at its shallow part, so swimmers should need to be careful as they enter the sea, but after that you are in an aquarium. It is located next to Agnontas settlement (1.5 km) and reached by a coastal street of 1 km length off the main road that skirts the island. On the beach there are available comfortable sun beds and umbrellas.
