Nea Anchialos National Airport (code VOL) covers the needs of central Greece by serving domestic and international scheduled and chartered flights to/from certain European and Greek cities, namely:
- Belgium – Brussels Charleroi
- Czech Republic – Brno
- France – Paris Orly
- Germany – Düsseldorf
- Greece – Heraclion Crete
The airport is located 40 km from the harbour and city of Volos. The Volos Intercity Bus Service has established special routes, which depart from Volos, 2 hours before each flight.
