“Lovely island”, by Graham Smith, High Wycombe, UK

Stayed at the Ageri end of June into July. Really nice studios, basic like a lot of Greece, but perfectly adequate, towels and beds changed regularly, nice pool and bar-b-que area, very peaceful when we were there it is set midway between Skopelos and Stafylos so you may need a car. There is a supermarket and garage nearby with a hotel next door with a restaurant. The island is lovely, very green and ideal for walkers and wildlife lovers, you must be prepared for quite a long journey as you have to fly into Skiathos and then the hydrofoil/ferry over and it seems they take you out on the last one (8:00 pm) and bring you back on the 1st (7:00am) but don’t let this put you off it is well worth the time. We will definitely go back and to the Ageri. Highly recommend.

“Excellent apartments”, by Keith Br.

Athena is a very friendly lady who makes you feel very welcome and can’t do enough for you to make your stay even better. The apartments are a 20 minute walk from Skopelos Town, it’s probably safer to get a taxi back after an evening in town, cost is 5 euros. There is a hotel virtually next door which has a taverna you can eat at. There is a supermarket and petrol station 150m away. If you stay here you will probably need transport to get about, the local bus does stop outside the hotel, but I can’t say what they’re like as we didn’t use them. The apartments are spotless, and bedding and towels are changed every 2 days. A very relaxing place to stay.

Room Tip: Try for an upstairs room in the block overlooking the pool area.

“Beautiful Accomodation, Perfect Location”, by BigAlDerby32, Matlock, UK

Perfect holiday destination, spotlessly clean, relaxing and convenient in every way. This is Skopelos at its best, whilst modern and up to date it still maintains a traditional feel. Athena, Thank You for your warm welcome and hospitality throughout our stay. We will definately return.

"Love it", by BlackCats66, Wooburn Green

A great place to stay on Skopelos. Athena, the owner, is a very nice lady and her accommodation is well looked after and kept very clean. Nice pool & bar area to chill out in the sun. Out of town location but an easy 15 minute walk away and in the other direction an easy 15 minute walk to the lovely Stafylos beach.

“Ageri Studios are the perfect base for an idyllic holiday on Skopelos”, by Queenofcool

I’ve just returned from two weeks at the Ageri Studios and wish I was on the next ferry back. Ideally situated within walking distance of Skopelos town and beautiful Stafylos beach and two minutes’ walk from the bus stop and mini market, the studios are nevertheless quiet and tranquil, set around a lovely pool in a delightful landscape of lemon, fig and olive trees. Athena and her team are warm, welcoming, helpful and accommodating hosts and the studios are well designed, cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The perfect base for a relaxing break on a stunningly beautiful island.

“Excellent”, by Mick Cass, Castleford, UK

My wife and I have stayed in these apartments 3 times, and have had superb holidays every time. The owner, Athena, is so helpful and really makes you feel welcome. Apartments fairly simple, but spotlessly clean, pool area very welcoming. I would recommend the Ageri to anyone.

Room Tip: Try for a studio in the back building, they are a bit cooler in the afternoons.

“Perfect holiday!”, by MrsHarry21, Blyth

My husband and I stayed in these studios almost 2 years ago now. It was fantastic and we loved every minute of our stay. The apartments are about a mile or so from the main town which can be reached on foot (though probably best to get a taxi back at night as the road is fairly dark and busy with no pavement). They are clean and comfortable with a great pool area with a little pool bar. Not a place for party people, but perfect for a relaxing get away from it all type holiday with everything you could want in the town of Skopelos. The owner, Athena, is lovely and very friendly and the lady who cleaned our room just never stopped all day, bless her! The town of Skopelos is beautiful with gorgeous shops, bars and restaurants where the owners invite you in but do not hassle you. From the studios in the opposite direction to the town is the small area of Stafylos, which has a gorgeous beach set in a little bay. This was an absolutely perfect place to stay and we will return!!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool probably had the best view though all were great.

“A beautiful little gem”, by Jill Jones, Bucks, England

We stayed at the Ageri Studios for 9 nights at the end of June and we absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Front Building and had a lovely room with lemon trees right by our balcony. Although the front is situated on a road it is not busy and the view from our balcony up to the hills was lovely. In the evening we loved sitting on our balcony listening to the scop owls and the goat bells. The gardens are very pretty with lovely views of the mountains and the pool is very nice and clean with a small fountain which the little birds loved to splash in. The rooms are very clean and well kept. There is a good fridge and basic self catering facilities although we were glad we took our travel kettle as there wasn’t one in our room. It is about a 20 minute walk into Skopelos Town which has some nice restaurants and a lovely bakery as you come into it. Athena, the owner, is a lovely lady and wanted to make sure everything was ok. The island of Skopelos is beautiful and we will definitely be going back there next year and staying at the Ageri.
