The décor has been sympathetically chosen, with love and care, to depict a touch of romance from a past period. Tailored lace-like curtains that filter the morning light into the rooms, in combination with antique family furniture, are just a few examples of the nostalgic details that adorn this space.
The building is nestled in the very centre of the town of Skopelos surrounded by traditional Greek homes and friendly faces. Step out the front door where only a short walk (3 minutes) will land you at the main Port of Skopelos and all the amenities, shops, restaurants and bars of this beautiful town.
COURTYARD
The independent entrance door from the neighbourhood alley opens to a courtyard sanctuary and an oasis of calm. This private exterior area, paved with slate from Mount Pelion, provides space and light to enjoy the sun or relax in the shade. A large table with comfortable chairs allows you to enjoy alfresco breakfasts and dinners.
SUNROOM
The entrance from your private courtyard is into a cozy sunroom nook, which allows space to sit and read your book, or surf the Internet, while enjoying the view of the courtyard oasis through the large windows. There is sufficient space on the sofa to accommodate a further guest if required.
LIVING, DINING & KITCHEN
The centrepiece of the apartment is the large open plan living / dining room with kitchen, which gives a pleasing bright area to entertain. There is a traditional hand-crafted island couch here, to sit and watch TV. The fully equipped modern kitchen offers family size refrigerator with freezer, oven with 4 ring glass cook top, coffee machine, kettle and all necessary cooking utensils for making proper meals.
BEDROOM 1
Next to the living area, the first bedroom has traditional high chestnut-beamed ceiling and wooden floor. It includes a standard double bed, bedside tables with task lighting, and wardrobe. There are two windows, one looking upon your private courtyard and the other upon the neighbourhood alley. Bed linens are provided and changed mid-week.
BEDROOM 2
The second bedroom has traditional high chestnut-beamed ceiling and wooden floor. This spacious room offers two single latex mattresses, which, when pushed together, form a European king size double bed. There is also a blue-striped sofa that converts into a comfortable double size bed, also with latex mattress. The room can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, and is ideal for one couple with 2 children. There is a large window looking upon the neighbourhood alley. Bed linens are provided and changed mid-week.
BATHROOM
Relive your day on the island while enjoying a relaxing bath. The luxuriously spacious appointed marbled family bathroom has bathtub with shower attachment, toilet, basin and large storage cabinets. Towels are provided and changed mid-week.
