It\u2019s a five-minute taxi ride from Skiathos airport to the harbour, where there are regular crossings by ferry to local port of Glossa or main port of Skopelos town.<\/p>\n<p>Skiathos Airport &#8220;Alexandros Papadiamantis&#8221; (JSI) is located just 2.2 km from Skiathos port. A small airport with only one passenger terminal and fast check-in and check-out. [\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;20px&#8221;][vc_images_carousel images=&#8221;369,371,373,374,384,385,381,389&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; hide_pagination_control=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seasonal charter flights operate from April to early October directly to Skiathos from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsi-airport.gr\/en\/flights--more\/flights--destinations\/destinations\/destinations\/dest_id-1518\/nd_id-1518\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">many cities in 17 countries<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>There are flights to Skiathos from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jet2.com\/en\/Flights\/Greece\/skiathos#flights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">7 UK airports with Jet2<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>From Athens there are scheduled flights with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olympicair.com\/en\/travel-information\/book-a-flight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olympic Air<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyexpress.gr\/en\/flights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SKY Express<\/a> all year round.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Transportation between the airport and the port of Skiathos is provided by bus and taxi.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The taxi stand is located outside the arrivals building, with taxis waiting for flights upon arrival. The journey to the port takes approximately 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>The bus stop is located at the curbside south of the Control Tower building.
