Everything was better than the last time we have been there. The people who are working there are very friendly, the breakfast was much better that the last time and they have made it much more beautifull than before!!!! Ich war ja in den letzten Jahren durchaus in so einigen 4- und 5-Sterne-Bunkern, aber ich habe mich noch nie so wohl in einem Hotel gef\u00fchlt! The hotel is exactly how it looks on the photos, it really is beautiful. All the staff were very welcoming and attentive, especially Regina, Angel and Max. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.<\/p>\n

The rooms in the hotel were very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable, and very well equipped with kettle, coffee maker, iron, toast maker, oven, fridge\/ freezer, hair dryer etc. I think all have balconies and most with sea and pool view. They had a problem with the water main supply for a few hours on a couple of days whilst we were there, which couldn’t be helped. So they provided us with bottles of water totally 18 litres, which we didn’t really need but it lasted us all week anyway.<\/p>\n

The only slight negative about the hotel is the breakfast and the bar food isn’t the best with limited choice. However it didn’t really matter as there are three taverna’s very near by, the one we went to down the hill was lovely. The hotel also provides a free bus service into Skopelos town each night, and they pick you up to bring you back at 22:30.<\/p>\n

The location of the hotel is ideal, it’s a short walk down the hill to Stafylos beach, a short drive onto Skopelos town which has a huge choice of restaurants and bars. There is a bus stop just down the road, which takes you into Skopelos town or to the other beaches not too far away. We really liked Limnonari beach, best to drive here though as its a decent walk from where the bus drops you. Skopelos is stunning and we would definitely return.<\/p>\n

However you have to be careful with the ferries and try and book in advance, not many run through the day and ours was cancelled at last minute which cause mayhem on our last day trying to sort another. My advice would be to travel back to Skiathos the day before your flight and stay in Skiathos for a night to avoid disappointment. ~from Ted & Clare Tangles, North East UK. Nice surroundings and friendly and helpful staff! Very close to the beautiful Stafylos beach! Bus stop just outside the door, plus possibility to go to Skopelos town with shuffle from the hotel. The closest restaurant (3 minutes walk) serves delicious home made Greek meals. A evening drink in the bar at the hotel gives you the perfect relaxing end of the day! Stafylos beach is very nice, very clean, with a small beach bar and after that is also one more beach called Velanio. In Stafylos there are three restaurants with nice food. We stayed in the brand new renovated Stafylos Suites-Ostria Hotel. This hotel is very clean, with lovely view, nice and big rooms and the beds are the best we have ever slept!!!! We were very satisfied. The staff was very helpful, especially the lady called Regina. Many times she offered us a lot of extra during our stay there. The rooms are very clean and with very nice decoration. The swimming pool excellent, with a very nice bar. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes with car from the city and just a minute from 2 of the most popular beaches on island. But the view……UNIQUE. ~by Stelios Fikos, Athens, Greece.
