Glysteri beach

Tucked into an inlet, below protective green hills...

Easy access, Off the bus route
4,5 km from Skopelos town
Orientation: North
Family friendly, Ample parking space

This is a long, narrow inlet (looks like a fjord) on the northern coastline of the island, ideal for snorkeling along its sides. Although off the bus route, the access from Skopelos town is very easy by private vehicle (car or moped), via a tarmac road all the way to the beach at a total distance of 4,5 kilometers. It may also be reached by private boat from Skopelos’ town jetty.

The beach varies from big pebbles to fine shingle and the sea has amazing blue colors. Facing north it is much cooler than the western beaches and the water feels fresher.

There is plenty of space for free parking, even in the peak season.
